Blackwell's in MO

This is the first of many that will come, our goal being once a week to update with photos and daily activities and cool things we just do. Also for family and primarily Grammie and Poppy Blackwell now that they have internet access.

This is our second week here in Dixon MO which is right next to St. Roberts and right outside Ft. Leonard Wood where Wick will be attending school for the next little bit. October came and went and the kids had a ball for Halloween as you can see their customs. Wick came home 1 Nov and missed the festivities, which was a bumber. Tam and the kids are settling in and the boxes are unpacked (at least the ones we want open for now). We are excited to be together again and everyone adjusting to Dad's rulings (which really is not that bad). The fleas and tics are alot worse here then NY and pose a to be a pain with our furry dog Surge. We have begun to take measures to give our dog the tic and flea free life he deserves but our yard looks like it is infested with fleas. The weather is cold here so no real change there for us coming from NY, I just hope it kills all the fleas and tics. This month and the next month we will be traveling alot with Thanksgiving in CO with the Blackwell's and Tamra's Sister Valerie and then in Dec for Christmas to AZ. We look forward to visiting family and friends, it seems like it has been forever since we have seen them.

My baby visited Kindergarten

Yesterday Jakob visited Kinderarten all day long. Just like a day of school would be. He loved it so much. When asked what his favorite part was he said, "The playing." LOL He made a mask of an owl and spent the whole evening wearing it (even though he couldn't see with it on) and trying to perfect his owl sound.

We were going to wait to put Jake in but he wants to go so bad and he is such a smart little cookie. The other day, Jakob sounded out a word all by himself . A couple of days after that he figured out how to add. Every few minuets he kept coming to me and giving me a math problem and it's answer. Such as "Mom, 4+4 is 8!". Yeah so I think he is ready.
Countdown until Wick leaves Iraq for R&R (rest and relaxation): 7 days
